What is RF Microneedling?
Also known as: Radiofrequency Microneedling, RF Micro-Needling
RF microneedling combines tiny needles that create micro-channels in the skin with radiofrequency heat delivered to the deeper layers, boosting collagen to firm and smooth skin.
RF microneedling is a skin-rejuvenation treatment that adds radiofrequency energy to traditional microneedling. Fine needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin, and as they reach the deeper layers they release radiofrequency heat. This combination triggers the skin to produce fresh collagen and elastin, improving firmness and texture.
It is widely used to soften acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, and skin laxity, and it works on many skin tones. At UDERMA, RF microneedling is offered through devices such as Morpheus8 and EXION. Most people need a short series of treatments, with mild redness afterward that typically settles within a day or two.
