What is Dermaplaning?

Also known as: Dermablading, Blade Exfoliation

Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to gently scrape away dead surface skin and fine peach-fuzz hair, leaving skin smoother, brighter, and ready to absorb products and makeup.

Dermaplaning is a gentle, manual exfoliation treatment. A provider uses a sterile surgical blade held at an angle to lightly glide across the skin, removing built-up dead cells and the fine vellus hair often called peach fuzz. There are no needles and no chemicals involved, and it is comfortable and quick.

The result is immediately smoother, brighter skin with a fresh canvas that lets serums absorb better and makeup go on more evenly. It involves no downtime and is often paired with a facial or another treatment. It is a popular pick-me-up before special occasions.
