UDERMA Medspa & Laser wants every patient to be able to read about our treatments, watch our videos and book a visit, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what we do and how to reach us when something does not work for you.
What we follow
The site is built and checked against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Every deployment runs automated checks with the axe engine on the page templates, on desktop and mobile layouts, and the results are reviewed before the site goes live. Automated checks catch part of the picture; we also test by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader on the pages patients use most.
What that means on the page
- Every image that carries meaning has a text description; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- The menu, the treatment finder, the booking flow and the contact form work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and buttons meet the AA contrast ratio, including the gold brand colour, which was darkened where it sits on white.
- Our treatment videos are being re-recorded with a spoken narration; each narrated video carries a caption track and a written transcript on its page, so nothing is only available as sound. Videos not yet narrated have no speech, only music.
- Headings, landmarks and link text describe where they lead; pages are readable at 200 percent zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Motion is limited, and animations respect the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
